Event Description

East Bay Regional Parks runs an official introductory stroll on Sundays, and will feature a friendly visit to Temescal Recreation Area on November 29th, at 10am.

If you or your Thanksgiving visitors are not regular walkers, then this stroll is the perfect way to explore a little nature "in the city." Temescal's a hidden gem built around the Temescal Reservoir, which is quite nice in the off season.

Join our East Bay Regional Park leader and other families for an easy, one-mile mile walk around the lake - and learn the history and geology of one of the first East Bay Regional Parks.

Hey, you can bring your dog as well...but he or she must be leashed. Meet everyone (and some dogs) at the parking area entrance, which is located right off Broadway Terrace, after you drive to the other side of Highway 13.

This guided stroll is free, and no advanced registration's needed. For more info, please call (510) 544-3187.
