Event Description
If you can't get to the mountains, then no worries about missing the new snowfall. This Saturday, there will be snow trucked right into Oakland instead, at the Rockridge in the Snow celebration.
Come to the Rockridge BART area on Saturday, between 3-6pm, and there will be a kids play area filled with the cool white stuff. Not fair...why aren't the adults allowed there too?
At this Holiday event, you and your kids can also check out a talking Oakland Police Car as well as live entertainment. And remember to bring a coat or two to donate for needy locals.
Sounds like a great option for post Turkey-Day.
