Event Description
With Friends of Sausal Creek, come help count the birds tomorrow - starting at 8am.
If interested meet at the Sequoia Arena, first lot off Skyline Ave. in Joachin Miller Park. Please see linked map for location.
The Friends will be taking a hike near the creek, to identify and admire the wealth of birds that share our watershed.
General protocol includes documenting birds observed during a ten-minute period at each of several locations (aka "point count"). Data gathered by bird monitors will be used to evaluate the impact of the Friends' restoration activities.
