All joys and woes of Montclair
Hoping to meet some faithful "Today in Montclir, 94611" followers!
Hello all,
I am an acquaintance of Debby Richman's, who I have spoken with about covering Montclair and the Oakland Hills over the years.
I am tasked with covering the Oakland Hills as a neighborhood "beat" for the next few months; I am a journalism student at San Francisco State University and this is a semester-long assignment that I'm thrilled to be undertaking. I decided to get in touch with Debby because she is the "go-to" person when it comes to covering the Hills; I quickly learned that Today in Montclair, 94611 and her former writing for The Examiner were (and are still) very popular, and I figured that she would be a valuable resource for me as I began my reporting.
Debby's recommendations, general advice, and tips have been so helpful, though this is something that didn't surprise me; she puts so much love and attention into Today in Montclair, 94611 that I could see how many others see her as a valuable resource for life in Montclair and the Hills also.
