Event Description

Friends of Montclair Railroad Trail (website) meet monthly for trail maintenance but could use extra hands this Saturday morning. The City of Oakland has donated wood chips, and the Friends need help spreading them on the trail.

Why? These wood chips are very useful, as they will prevent weed growth. If you have any large cardboard boxes, then please bring them on Saturday too. It turns out they make a nice base for the chips.

Come join the work crew, rain or shine, starting at 9am. Please meet up at the Cortereal Avenue entrance, behind McCaulou's and next to the tunnel. The Friends hope to see you there!
