Event Description

East Bay Regional Parks runs an official introductory stroll on Sundays, and will feature a classic Redwood Park route on October 4th, at 10am.

If you are not a regular walker, this is the way to explore shady redwood forests and sunny chaparral hills on a moderate 3.5 mile hike - on the Stream Trail and East Ridge Loop.

All you need to do is wake up and walk into nature. An East Bay Park naturalist will lead you through our ridgeline park and its natural wonders. This is drop-in program, which means no registration is required.

See map below, as you will need to drive to and park at Redwood's Canyon Meadow Gate, which is at the southern end of the park. Please meet everyone there at 10am for the walk.
